About This Position:

Position provides administrative support to Consumer Loan Department, in addition to performing duties associated with consumer loan processing such as preparing and processing approved new loans and renewals.  Perform set-up and processing of new loan files, to include complex loan processing assignments. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Prepare new and renewal loan documents and correspondence including letters, memoranda, and various forms and reports in rough draft and final draft form for the lending staff.  Proofread for accuracy and correct errors.  Order title policies and/or complete UCC search, appraisals, credit reports, receives and files same.  Confirm standing on collateral. Prepare all collateral documents e.g., changes of collateral, transfers of equity, lien filings, and deeds of trust and updates files and records of customers internally and with the State and County as appropriate. Prepare loan file with all appropriate documentation. Track all required information needed to complete loan files.  Assist officer in the preparation of information for the loan committee and in the preparation of loan officer comments to the loan file.  Close loans for officers as instructed on occasion.  Prepare information for disbursement when loans closed.  Process loan information and debit/credit forms to be entered on books and on computer system.  Perform file maintenance to ensure quality control of documents and processes.  Maintain a tickler system to ensure that all steps in the loan application and monitoring process are completed in a timely manner.  Monitor and adjust tax and insurance reserves as needed.  Process paid notes, files and ensures collateral is not used for any other loan before getting collateral released.  Prepare lien release(s) on collateral when loan is paid off.  Responsible for follow-up on insurance cancellations.  Ensure compliance with Bank policies and government regulations; including, but not limited to, RESPA and Reg Z.

Job Requirements

Combination of education and experience equivalent to a high school diploma and minimum one year customer service related work experience. Experience in banking is preferred.

This position will be scheduled 30 hrs/week.  Must be available:
1:30-6:15 Monday-Wednesday
1230-6:15 Thursday
11:30-6:15 Friday
9:00-2:00 Saturday (at the Cole Branch, Boise)

Duties:  

  • Cash checks and process deposits.
  • Processes loan payments
  • Handles credit card advances.
  • Refers bank services and products.
  • Provides Legendary customer service; always greeting customers with a smile and taking extra measures when needed to satisfy customer needs.
